My Travel to the Mountains Were Awesome

I just knew that it would be a very good idea for me to be able to travel to the mountains that were only two hundred miles away from my home town. I knew that I would be able to have a very nice time in my travels to the mountains. I was able to do that very thing. The many things that I was able to do at the mountains were numerous and fun as can be. I just knew that this would be something that I would really love to be able to do again in the very near future. I just have to say that this was something that I loved doing and know that it would be easy for me to get back to the same area that I was at before. I also had a very nice and easy travel back to my very own home town.

How to Travel; Friend or Foe

I have always set off to travel solo. It does add to my nerves usually anxiety about starting and remembering things like, how do I check in at the airport? However I am not to sure if I could travel long term with someone. I have met people en route and spent either hours, days or longer with some. There are many times it is great to tag on with someone when exploring. I have been relieved if someone speaks the language or seems confident to set out for the day on buses etc. I do tend to find that despite this relief I often tend to be the one who takes charge to sort things out. I find I miss my own company. I so often feel misunderstood around others, then feel frustrated and seek myself. I need this to restock the psychological reservoir. Maybe I analyse too much!

Our Car Broke Down

Our car was in an accident a week prior, and it broke down today. I hope it wasn’t because of the accident because we already reported no damage to the vehicle to the insurance company. That would be bad if it was really injuring the inside of our car and we didn’t know. I hope the mechanic can tell us what is wrong with it. The bright side is that we got to choose a rental car from all the rental cars they had. It will be nice to drive something new for a change. The insurance is paying for that too. I guess now that we have a newer car to drive around, we can go to the beach and anywhere we want. We didn’t use to go anywhere because we were afraid the car might break in the middle of the rode, and it finally did. We were just going home, and the car just stopped. We’ll see what happens.

RV Boondocking Can Be Safe

When you begin to think about boondocking, you hear that it may not be safe. However, if you talk to most people who do boondock, they say it is a safe practice, provided you follow some common sense.

For example, don’t open your doors to strangers at night. Lock your doors at night. Things that you would do around your own home.

Boondocking requires you to be self-sufficient. That is, you must have your own water, your own power, propane for heating/cooking and an ability to old your wastewater. In other words, be able to camp without being hooked up to anything.

This of course limits the number of days you can boondock. So, prepare ahead of time by estimating how much water or propane or power or holding of wastewater needed for the number of days you want to boondock. Give yourself a little extra of each, in case you stay longer than expected.

A little planning and you will do ok RV boondocking.

Thinking when You Are in Another Country

We all want to have fun and enjoy life and that is why some choose traveling as their hobby as they think it brings so much fun, but for me the one day that I traveled to Costa Rica made me know that I definitely don’t like traveling enough to end up there again. Not that the country is bad but I think it is just me I haven’t gotten over my sophistication and it is definitely killing me. Before I went there at first I was asking so many questions and even wanted to know somethings like do I need immunization for costa rica ? I didn’t actually need but then maybe it would have convinced me at first that everything isn’t going to be ok with me there. I could not cope with the food and the weather was actually too cold for me to handle. I thought throughout the journey about returning back home never to come back again. But then what if all journeys where like this, will I stop traveling ?
