The creative arts business (ie Music, Film, Software) has claimed huge losses in the past couple years due to this type of filesharing. This has led to some serious changes in legislation in New Zealand, which means that users who participate in P2P filesharing in New Zealand run the risk of getting banned from the Internet.

My Friend is a Talented Photographer

A friend of mine is a professional photographer. You should see his work, he takes really beautiful pictures. Everyone who has seen his work agrees that he’s extraordinarily talented. There’s a gallery in town that represents him. He had an exhibition a couple of months ago and I think that he did really well. He sold a lot of photographs that week. And his pictures fetch a really good price as well. I even own one of his pictures myself. But he’s trying to broaden his career by branching out into different areas. He mentioned that he wants to sell his photographs on the internet. He’s been thinking about selling his pictures in a way that people can use it practically. He thought for example that people might want to buy his photographs to use as landscape wallpaper. Because I’m a graphic designer he thought that I would be able to give him advice on how to enter the world of cyberspace.

Facebook Finally Release IPad App

Well there wasn’t a lot of hubaloo about it. But the iPad finally gets their own app. I haven’t seen hardly any news stories about the release.

We use our iPad now to manage fan interaction for our Jacksonville computer repair business, and it has been just “ok”. We’re looking forward to the ability to have a native app so that everything will work as it should. Sometimes while using safari it seemed like Safari couldn’t decide whether to show us the full version or the mobile version and things would be slow or not display correctly.

So far the app looks like it’s a winner. Navigation is a breezy and much quicker than using Safari. Also the photo browser is REALLY nice and looks great as usual on the iPad’s display. There is a new iPhone version being released as well. We haven’t had a chance to test it yet, but have heard good things.

I really like playing car games online. I like the competition. I get to play against other players from all over the world. There is some real competition out there. It is amazing. I actually can feel the adrenaline rush during a close competition. I suppose I would look like some sort of gaming fanatic to the uninitiated. However, I’m just passionate about the racing games online. My dad and brother go crazy during football season. I like online racing. I have the same feeling about the games online as my dad and brother have about football season. It is all harmless fun. It doesn’t rule our lives, it is just a passion.
