You see, this mistake has now literally cost me thousands of dollars. No bike rack has ever performed like the Yakima rack I currently have, and I am not surprised when people tell me the same thing.

You see, the first rack I ever got was a generic bike rack. It was so poorly designed that it would not even attach itself to my trailer hitch, as it was designed to do. I promptly returned it to the retailer who had sold it to me.

My second bike rack was better than the first, but just barely. I actually hooked it up to my vehicle, and then hooked an expensive bike to it. I started driving, and the entire rack fell off my car, with the bike attached, and was promptly run over by a truck. I wish I had gotten my Yakima rack sooner.

The Famous 1944 Penny

The US one cent coin was subjected with Lincoln on the front and wheat on the reverse from 1909 until 1958. The one cent coin was issued since 1959. The 1944 penny was made of 95% copper, 5% tin and zinc with the “Memorial reverse”.

From Connecticut to California enthusiasts of remote control cars are having a blast and even raising money for a worthy cause. This year the Goshen Stampede raised money for The American Cancer Society with their race for the cure. Competition was fierce but everyone had a great time plus raised a great deal of money for research and development.

This is far from the only charitable event held each year where remote control cars are involved. In the UK there are charity events involving RC cars of all types. Last year saw the Carisma Cup, which raised money for Myton Hospice and gave many RC owners a chance to get out and race the Bedworth circuit.

Even Aussies are getting in on the fun fundraising opportunities available in the remote control cars world. Recently a model car, truck, helicopter and tank fundraiser was held at the Dunvale Sports Center in Victoria. Everything did not go exactly according to plan but spectators and participants had a ball and raised $1900 for the Cancer Council and Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Can’T Wait to Get Ripped

I have always been big and have struggled with weight all my life. I have tried everything to lose weight. I have succeeded a couple of times, but it always came back, I would lose it for a couple of months and then it would creep up on me and without noticing it, I would be back to my old weight. I tried diet pills, blood group diet and work outs and they did work, but somehow I could never keep it off for long. I never tried though the best workout to get ripped kind; I have always focused on cardio vascular workouts. Maybe it is time I considered getting ripped, they say that it is easier to maintain the weight if you strengthen your muscles because muscle burns fat even when you are resting, so I simply have to find the time, and commit myself to it. I have to be careful about overdoing it though. I don’t want to get too buffed.
