So, it’s Christmas day, and you’re fictional. Who would you invite to your Christmas dinner? Scrooge might seem like an obvious choice (from the end of the book) on account of how he’d at least bring a massive amount of food with him. It’s worth it, despite the fact I always thought the excessively cheerful “I’ve just seen a bunch of time travelling ghosts” version of Scrooge was actually creepier than the one at the beginning of the book. Plus, I don’t know how to roast a turkey that big.
It’s A Wonderful Life might seem like a good place to find some cheerful festive company, although I think it would get awkward when George Bailey and Scrooge start discussing their “mystical experiences”, especially if it leads George to talk about his suicide attempt.
I think my favourite guests would have to be Wallace and Gromit. The dog would definitely know how to roast the turkey, and Wallace would bring a bottle, but not consume much more than the cheese and biscuits.
